Andrew Ellis

Operations Lead

Andrew Ellis is an established operations leader with an extensive work history assisting both public and private sector clients navigate strategic, regulatory, and operational challenges. He has led projects for clients in highly regulated industries including cannabis, alcohol, energy, finance, healthcare, and transportation.

Andrew most recently worked for Trellis, a cannabis SaaS company, where he managed the operations and Canadian market. He successfully drove the market expansion initiative for Canada by revising segmentation strategy and co-marketing efforts – collaborating with clients and government agencies. Andrew has extensive experience assisting Cannabis operators through the licensing process, including drafting track-and-trace support materials for submission to the Canadian government.

Prior to Trellis, Andrew worked in management and regulatory consulting where conducted strategic planning exercises for some of North America’s largest companies. He has assisted dozens of clients redefine operating procedures, organizational structure, strategy, procurement, and market entry approach.

She spent the last seven years running operations for private equity-backed software companies, which included establishing best practices across sales, finance, marketing, customer success, and other functional areas, as well as integrating eight acquisitions across four different platform investments.
